A bit about me...
Hi, I'm Andrea, a Registered Social Service Worker.Â

Becoming a therapist was a second career for me. It grew from years of personal and professional experience, supporting people I love, learning about myself through therapy, and discovering what worked for me - and what didn't.
Â
Along the way, I learned to understand and accept parts of myself that others hadn't always understood or valued. I've had the opportunity to make choices that have brought my life into greater alignment with who I am today. In many ways, I've reclaimed me.
That personal journey is a big part of why I love what I do. I know how powerful it can be to have the space to understand yourself differently, make peace with the parts of yourself you've struggled with, and discover that you don't have to become someone else to create a life that feels good.

I believe understanding ourselves creates space for acceptance and growth. The ways we've learned to cope, protect ourselves and navigate the world often developed for good reason. They aren't parts of us that need to be fixed or rejected. Sometimes, they simply need a new role.

I work collaboratively and with curiosity, drawing from evidence-informed approaches including ACT, DBT, CBT, trauma-informed and neuro-affirming practice. I'm particularly interested in helping people understand themselves more deeply, especially when something no longer feels right or when they're wondering what could feel different.

Outside of my work, I'm a mom, a lifelong learner and someone who values good conversation, time with the people I love, being outside, and finding joy in the ordinary parts of life.

The goal isn't to have everything figured out. It's about creating a life that feels like your own - and giving yourself permission to let it evolve.
